Works very well with a seamless and tight attachment to Walker Razors, transmission quality is pretty good, on par with the garden variety walkie-talkies. They are compatible with the walkie-talkies on the main channel layout, the "privacy" sub-channels is a different story cause there's really no single standard. There are published CTCSS tables with the channel numbers and frequencies, but different manufacturers are sometimes skipping some channels for whatever reasons and that messes up the numbering. If you want to use the sub-channels to isolate your traffic from the other users on the same main channel, and you want to do this in a crowded areas, prep ahead of time to figure out which sub-channel on this device matches the walkie-talkie's.
Build quality is good and sturdy, and even with the radio attached, it fits under the headband collapsed to put into a range bag in compact shape.

I'm pretty new to the more expensive headset so I didn't know what to expect so I'll start off by saying these are very good... the manage to muffle the sound of gun fire while able to amplify voices so you don't have to yell at the range anymore.. Definitely a must buy if your pretty frequent at the gun range. They don't charge only take batteries but the battery life is pretty good.

Loved everything. Very comfortable. Don't need take it off since you can communicate thru radio. Adjust sound and hear everything around you. Minus the loud gunfire. Used it at the range with 4 buddies that also had them.

Had a chance to use these at the range while shooting a 12 gauge shotgun. Reaction time to noise, and overall suppression is good. Head band is a little tight, but not uncomfortable. Overall happy with the purchase. Biggest complaint is a lack of clarity on the advertised auto shut of feature. The Walker's website lists these as having an "Auto shut off 2/4/6 hours" and on the same page lists "Auto shut off 4 hours". The walkersoutlet.com listing is "the Digital Razor features an auto shut off at 2, 4, and 6 hour marks" There is no downloadable manual from the Walker's site for this product. The provided documentation is microscopic and lists the auto shut off as "4 hours" (see picture). Not the end of the world, but I was expecting a product with configurable auto shut off.

The only problem is the Battery length of use
