   These are good quality, nothing bad. However, the 4 mics little better than my prior 2-mic versions (several brands). I think maybe sounds behind you are slightly louder, but not noticeably and they do NOT allow any more precise positioning of sounds than 2 mic models. In fact, my Peltor brand 2-mic model that is my go-to for hunting, consistently allows me to localize sounds better. Not sure how that is, but I switched back and forth many times as I walked around our property and it was definite. These also have more background noise/ hum than those Peltors, though it’s not bad and at a range, it probably wouldn’t matter. The Peltors cost >$100 so if these are on sale, these could be 1/2 that cost, so I’m not unhappy with the value in these – they are good, just not great. I got them to have an electronic set for everyone in the family at the range and secretly thought I might switch to these from my Peltors if for hunting having 4 mics is an advantage. The Peltors are approaching 10y old after all. Nope, the Peltor are still better so still “my” pair, but these’ll work great for range use.

   They are comfortable, seal well, and are easy to use. Battery door is easy to open and i think a better design than several other models/brands i have and have used.

   I received these along with other stuff I ordered. I saw that the clear tabs were already cut but didn’t bother to think nothing of it. I broke the seal of the batteries to install and test the headset fit and sound which they seemed to work just fine but when I went to remove the headset I felt the rough scuffs and scratches. Then I took a closer look at the box it doesn’t even have a plastic firm covering the product. The way the headset folds even if it is exposed makes it impossible to for the scratched portion of the headset to be scratched the way it is. If anything the damages should be along the sides of the headset. It’s sad that you pay for an advertised new product but seems to have been used and abused already. All I’m saying is that it’s kinds nasty to be putting something on your body when you don’t even know who used it or if was cleaned before hand. I’ll clean my brand new second hand rough scuffed ear muffs myself with alcohol and a rag as i am too busy and can’t be bothered to return this product and wait for a new one to come in with possibly the same issue if not worse. EDIT: despite the damaged goods I received I will change my rating to 5 stars based soley on the performance of the ear muffs. I was able to clearly hear peoples conversations while equipped as I used these at an indoor shooting range in combination with ear plugs.

   I expected there to be better directional hearing with the 4 mics. I don’t notice a difference between these and my 2 mic setup, but there is no audio jack for external comms on these ones. I thought about returning them, but they are good earmuffs for shooting, and i only paid $25 for them on sale. So, not a total loss.
   Minus one star for no directional hearing, and minus one for no audio jack for comms.

   So far they been very comfortable, same as my regular Walkers. My first electronic pair and very happy with them so far. Cuts the loud sounds out immediately and is very nice to be able to have conversations without removing them. Especially handy at a gun range when your not always sure when a shot will ring out. Sound is fine for my use. Im sure there is better or stereo speakers but for basic shooting or hunting i feel they are just fine especially for the money!!
