   Why did you pick this product vs others?:
   Don’t waste your time with knock offs – you can’t buy another set of ears. Safety is the primary reason. You should be able to hear the gun range master when you are told to hold fire AND protect your ears. Just saying…I sent the cheap ones back because if thought they would be good enough. Boy, was I wrong!

   The model sent is different from the one in the picture… it’s Walker’s BEST version!
   This one is the X-TRM upgrade that has digital sound and Bluetooth!! It is a fantastic muff, and I’m surprised and happy with what I received.

   After using a friend’s Walker’s Muffs (a model without blue tooth) I was so impressed, I had to have a pair and I ordered it the following day. However I upgraded to the more expensive model muffs with “Blue tooth”. This model has very little volume control for ambient sound and simply seems to be either on or off at a low volume, The blue tooth feature is even worse. If there is any surrounding noise, you cannot hear the blue tooth speakers. These “X-trm” muffs are being returned. My problem is, I don’t know if I have a defective pair or my experience is the norm. HOWEVER, I will probably Reorder the basic model my friend had purchased which I believe was the Walker’s Razor model. FYI – I tried multiple batteries that tested above 1.5 volts each.

   Product shown is not what is shipped, walker web site is out of date with no current product information, and customer service is apparently abandoned. Nobody can tell me why these have the same SKU code, why they are fundamentally different, or tell me what these are. The seller offered to refund or exchange since even the manufacturer can’t tell me what these are. This model appears to have blue tooth, 4 microphones, no audio input jack for walkie talkies, but there is no way to compare features, models or prices with no reliable description. I am going to keep them because I am tired of the run around and time wasted trying to get answers, and look to Brands that stand behind their products other than Walker.

   it looks like the new fad is earbud protection but after putting these on I’ll never go that route. First of all, on the first order my package was stolen by pirates and when I called walkersoutlet.com they couldn’t help me because this seller chose a third party delivery. When I contacted the company they shipped a new one and informed me every step of the way on delivery. Love these guys and the product is 100%. Please support good businesses!!!!

   I haven’t tried on the range yet, but initial thoughts are good. The reason I took a star off is because the instructions are a joke. To turn on, you have to hold the power button, not just a simple click. It doesn’t say that in the instructions. I changed batteries and almost returned because I couldn’t turn it on.
   I figured it out, but then to change modes, it says to tap the bluetooth button to cycle through the modes, but that doesn’t work. With incredulous anticipation, I decided to see if it works with the power button. Sure enough, you click the power button to scroll through modes and hold it for 3 seconds to power off.
   Walker’s is a big, well known company. I find it crazy that their single sheet instructions are that inaccurate!
   To reiterate, I ALMOST returned these and the whole reason would be terrible instructions.

   I just got them today, and have only gone shooting 1 time so far. Sound is extremely clean, voices sound the same as without which is a big deal to me. Does a great job of protecting your hearing and still allowing you to hear everything. My wife has a cheaper pair of walkers, and these absolutely blow them out of the water.
