Great for shooting. Completely muffles louder arms and amplifies sounds you want to hear like talking.

At the range with my AR (very loud muzzle break) and couldn’t really hear the shots but it amplified the sound of my fart. Truly incredible technology.

These Walker’s Razor Slim earmuffs are fantastic for the range. The noise reduction is great—gunshots are dampened without cutting off normal conversation, thanks to the electronic sound amplification. Love these ear muffs. The volume knob is easy to adjust, they feel durable. We’ve used them a lot already in the range and also when hunting deer. You can still hear them walking on the leaves but not the gunshot. I’d say this is a GREAT gift idea for any grandpa/dad/hunter for their birthday or Christmas. They will love them.

Walkers game ears were the first high quality ear muffs with the technology of protecting your hearing and allowing the user to carry on a conversation. I have used these for years both at home mowing the lawn as well as weed eating . Replacing older Remington range muffins with these and the ability to turn on the mics to hear people around you is a big plus. I don’t use these for the range, I use them for homestead maintenance to block equipment noise and I couldn’t be happier.
Comfort is beyond awesome, shape, color, ease of use. Con, no travel bag to put them in, you have to purchase a case. Overall, worth every penny.

I really love the quality and fit of these muffs. However, I should have looked past the great name and price, the NRR of 23 is below minimum recommendations of 25 and most suggestions say to strive for a NRR of 30. Oh well, I’ll see how it goes and add plugs if needed even though that defeats the point of buying electronic ear pro. Read the specs like I didn’t 😖

I picked these up on a Black Friday deal and I was very surprised. These are amazing. I was skeptical on electronic earmuffs because I didn’t know if it would decipher between the decibels of a gunshot and other background noise. But these do a very good job. Without getting into the science and knowing the science of it. Anything over a certain decibel is muffed down. These are extremely comfortable, extremely easy to use, and the adjustable volume makes it very easy to hear everything around you without live gunfire in the background making you deaf.

Initially, I was not at impressed by these muffs. I felt like they did not do enough to limit sound/gun fire at the shooting range….However, I have done a couple things which helped to make them a product I use every time I’m at the range: 1. I always keep the volume dial on the right hand side on my head. I’m a southpaw, so I was initially wearing them with the volume adjustment on my left. What’s a little bizarre, is that I’m not sure why this matters…they seem to be identical on each side. So it shouldn’t matter how they are worn. But for me it does, I get a much, much better “seal” when they’re worn with the volume adjustment on the right. 2. I also started wearing foam ear plugs underneath these when also shooting a rifle. At first, this annoyed me to have to do, but I was just more comfortable and gun fire was much quieter. And at the end of the day, these still provide the amazing ability to talk and converse with someone else, which otherwise is all but impossible, especially at an indoor range. I’ve now purchased a second pair, so that my wife and I can each have a pair when we’re at the range together. It’s nice being able to talk without having to get close to each other and scream over gun fire while repeating “WHAT!?” every 30 seconds. Quality wise, they seem fine. I haven’t been blown out of the water. But I don’t have any concerns either. They fold up nice and compact, and have not yet shown any signs of wear and tear (first pair is a little over a year old). At the end of the day, I would recommend these to others. They’re definitely worth getting at their current price point….That being said, since I still need to wear the foam ear plugs underneath them, I’m going to knock one star off. Otherwise, they’ve exceeded my expectations. 4/5 stars. UPDATE 2/3/21 Both pairs are still going strong. And I have experienced no issues whatsoever. I did want to mention that I have swapped out the ear cups for Walker’s “Gel Cups”…..I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I have been super impressed. The gel cups not only seem to help form a better seal around your ear, but if you are going to be wearing them for more than a couple hours, you will really notice the difference. Definitely still a product I would recommend. The gel cups aren’t an absolute necessity, but they definitely enhance the product. ******************************* I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on walkersoutlet.com for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item.
