   My sons and I work an extremely noisy job assembling grain machinery, with impact wrenches running almost continuously. I have bought a couple of this kind of devices in the past, hoping to make conversation easier. The ones previously bought protected well enough, but would cut in to protect at the slightest sound such as a dropping wrench, and then took a short time to allow sound again. The result was you simply could not talk with someone else. This Razor is much better. You can adjust the volume to where you can here someone across the shop, and yet it does not allow any loud sounds to get through. I only have two complaints. One was that the head band is very stiff, and applied excess pressure to your head. This was easily remedied by carefully bending the band, working it with you fingers until it was weakened enough. The other complaint was much smaller. If you plug in the cable for MP3 player it shuts off the cancelling effect and reverts the muffs to being like very effective conventional muffs. I just don’t listen to tunes when there is a need to communicate.

   Excellent noise suppression for shooting. These are basically an industry standard for hearing protection at the gun range. I am completely happy with the look, comfort and performance. I would definitely buy again!!

   After 31 years of fire sirens, airhorns, loud radio chatter, and the roar of an engine pumping water on fires. I have lost much of my hearing and have constant tinnitus. Now retired and still enjoy shooting, and at my gun club I needed something better then earplugs and earmuffs to prevent further hearing damage. This product was just what I needed now and wish I had decades ago. Fit well, cover my entire ear and the noise damping is awesome. When the microphone is turned on I can adjust it to allow for just that amount of hearing so I know what is happening around me with others using their guns. And when a loud report is sensed the mich. adjusts to protect my ears from the sound. Lightweight and fold to a easily stored space.

   Great for the price, does not cancel as much noise as I would like at an indoor range, a bit too loud but perfect for outdoor range or skeet shooting, comfort and look is great
