The sound quality of media sounds okay, definitely needs improvement. The primary functions, though, work flawlessly. Ambient sound, hf frequency, max, 360, is a hunter’ best friend.

Do not buy these, the Bluetooth is bad at connecting to your phone. Constantly only connecting one of the buds but not both. They’re okay otherwise when there working but they don’t work all of the time.

My first experience with the Walker’s Disrupters was not good. Package was clearly a returned item – seal was cut, there was disgusting ear wax all over foam pieces, one foam piece was cracked, etc. Tried to pair it with my phone anyway and wouldn’t connect. walkersoutlet.com was great and sent out a replacement right away and sent a return label for the original. I’ve only used them a couple times now, but so far so good. I also have a pair of Walker’s Silencer 2.0 earbuds, which work good, but I can’t keep them from falling out of my ears. I guess my ears aren’t designed right for that style. Also have a pair of Walker’s Raptor bone conduction that work ok, but I was looking to get better sound quality (voices are a bit muffled). So compared to the other two Walker’s hearing protection devices I have, the Disruptors have good sound quality, fit my ears better (and stay in), and seem to provide adequate noise protection when shooting clay targets. I didn’t deduct any stars for the disgusting broken pair I originally received, because I was very happy with the way walkersoutlet.com handled the replacement/return.

Utter junk. Worked perhaps 3 times and then went into complete failure. When they worked – fiddly, cheap/nasty earbuds, app designed by god knows who. Keep your money.

Proof you get what you pay for. These are highly effective, comfortable to wear for hours and stay in place when active. These replaced a set of Walkers ATACS that I broke. The lack of a wire make these much easier to wear when putting clothing on and off. Much preferable to muffs in that they are lighter, don’t interfere with a sun hat. It would be nice if it had an inductive charger and more extensive touch controls, but these are minor complaints.

A couple of real challenges. I am a waterfowl hunter, and finding hearing protection that allows you to hear birds while still protecting your ears continues to be problematic. The disrupters solve that problem and don’t. Hearing birds is great, and shooting out is great. HOWEVER, 1) every time I blow a duck call, the hearing protection kicks in, and you can hear the tone of your call. 2) When you blow a speck call (mine is loud), they go into a really high ringing sound, like a microphone feedback problem. 3) When you put them in at shoot time, they automatically connect to your music on your phone. Trying to listen to your blind partner call and shoot ducks while Luke Combs is yelling in your ear is a little awkward. Then you’ve got to dig in your blind bag and pull out your phone—less than ideal. 4) The dog knocked my blind bag over, and my recharge case went in the water on hunt 4. They’re done. $180 down the drain.

Seemed like a good idea, but will not work with google pixel 8 phone. Contacted the APP provider they just told me that it will work with my phone.
