   Any avid shooter will tell you, there are hundreds of different models and styles. I’ve tried them all, these are just simply the best. Not very expensive, but not cheap. All around, a good product! I have several in my range.

   These came on time and the package was intact. The problem was when I started using them. One out of the 2 muffs was not working properly. Luckily I got it replaced.

   The only downside I can say is the VOX. It’s not that great. You have to speak loud or be in a very silent environment. Not a fan of that feature on these Walkers but I don’t really care since that feature is no use for what I need them for. Other than that they feel tight, comfortable, and rugged. Definitely recommend.

   The communication connection is trash. We run a firewood business and wanted to have headphones to be able to communicate with the firewood processor operator and the ground/loader person. They are not that comfortable, the top of your ear is tight to the ear muffs but you can feel it loose down at your ear lobes. The VOX is not good, picks up everything even when it is set to LOW. I returned them and gave up on the headphone search.

   If there were a 0 star i woud chose that, Absolute disappointment. Almost impossible to talk to someone, said can you hear me ? More than anything else. Finally took them off and put them away.

   I bought this set to allow for communication with others on a shooting range. Out of curiosity, I tested them with all my other walkie talkies and as long as the main channel and sub channel setting match, they work! Now to test them in the field.

   If you are going to use these for long periods, I highly recommend replacing the pads with gel pads.

   First pair didn’t work. Second pair didn’t work. Only reason for for two stars is the ear muffs are really nice. Walkie Talkie = junk.

   As far as the quality of the hearing protection goes these are great. The batteries seemed to last, they cut out perfectly and amplify the surrounding sound well. The issue I ran into was the radio attachment. These are designed to be used at the range so you can still talk to the person next to you. For that aspect they’re perfect. However the range is very limited. If you have any obstructions preventing line of site these radios will have issues with rx/tx. If you are around 600ft away you will have issues. These will not work if you are trying to use them to stay in contact with several hunters in the woods
