Bought these for coms on the UTV. The engine noise keeps the vox on transmit. Yes, I set the VOX sensitivity to the low setting. Even with my finger covering the mic hole the machine at idle keeps the mic keyed. Same problem with wind over 15 mph. Otherwise this would have been good. But walker should understand that their customers don’t want to have to PTT push to talk when its windy or when in the proximity of a running engine or ATV. I’m going to try Honeywell Synch for UTV comms.
